Magicstorycorner - User Terms & Conditions

Operated by TBC, a company registered in TBC under company number TBC, registered office at TBC ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account, purchasing tokens, or otherwise using magicstorycorner.com and any related apps, tools, or features (together, "the Service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to them, please do not use the Service.
1. Who Can Use Magicstorycorner
Magicstorycorner is built for adults to create storybooks for children, but the Service itself is intended for use by adults only.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, purchase tokens, or use any part of the Service.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and accounts may not be created on behalf of a child.
- Any information you enter about a child while creating a story, such as a name, age range, or character traits, is provided by you, the adult account holder, solely to generate that story. You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of what you submit.
- If we become aware that an account has been created by someone under 18, we will close that account and remove any associated data.
2. Your Account
To use most features of the Service, you will need to create an account. When you do, you agree to:
- provide accurate information when registering;
- keep your login details secure and confidential;
- let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission; and
- take responsibility for activity that happens under your account, except where that activity results from our error or a security failure on our part.
3. Tokens: How They Work
Tokens are the currency used inside Magicstorycorner. You buy tokens in advance, then spend them to create and unlock stories, choose narration, and download finished books.
- Tokens are added to your account as soon as your payment is confirmed.
- Tokens are deducted as you make choices during the story creation journey, not only at the very end, so the running total you see reflects the choices you have made so far.
- Tokens have no cash value outside Magicstorycorner and cannot be exchanged, transferred to another account, or redeemed for money, except where required by law or set out in Section 7 (Cancellations and Refunds).
- We may run promotions that award bonus tokens. Bonus tokens may carry their own terms, such as an expiry date, which we will tell you about at the time.
4. What Affects the Token Cost of Your Story
Because every story is different, the number of tokens a story costs is different too. We want this to be easy to understand before you commit any tokens, so here is exactly what goes into the cost.
Every story starts from a base cost, and a handful of choices you make along the way add to that total. Nothing is hidden or charged after the fact: the cost updates as you go, so you will always see your running total before you confirm.
Base cost to start a story
Every story begins with a base cost of 100 tokens. This covers setting up your story and applies no matter what you choose afterwards. Choosing your child's age and entering a character name never costs anything extra.
How much you write
When you answer the story questions, your character, the plot, the people in it, the length of what you write affects the cost:

The illustration style you choose
Some illustration styles take more work to generate than others, so the style you pick changes the cost:

Narration and downloads
Adding a narrated voice, and downloading your finished book as a PDF, each carry their own additional cost, shown to you clearly before you confirm:

Because of this, two stories can cost very different amounts depending entirely on what you choose. A short story with no narration and a free illustration style might cost as little as 100 tokens, while a longer story with a premium illustration style and a narrated voice will cost considerably more. You will always see the running token cost as you build your story, before you spend anything, so there are never any surprises.
5. Buying Tokens
You can buy tokens using the payment methods available on the Service. Current token packages and prices are shown on our Pricing page and may change from time to time; the pricing shown at the time of purchase always applies. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, and your card statement will show a charge from TBC.
6. Using and Accessing Your Stories
Once a story has been generated, it is saved to your account library, where you can view it, listen to it, or download it, depending on what you have chosen.
Story generation is usually quick, but because each story is created individually, it can occasionally take a few minutes, particularly for longer or more detailed stories. We will let you know if anything is taking longer than usual.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
We want you to feel confident buying tokens, so here is exactly where you stand.
- If you have purchased tokens but have not used them yet, you can request a refund for those unused tokens within 14 days of purchase.
- Once tokens have been spent on creating a story, choosing narration, or downloading a file, that part of your purchase is treated as a completed digital service and is not refundable, except where the story was not generated correctly due to a fault on our end.
- If a technical problem on our side stops you from completing a story or accessing what you have already paid for, let us know and we will fix it or refund the tokens affected.
- We cannot offer refunds simply because you do not like the tone, wording, or style of a finished AI-generated story, provided it was generated as requested. AI-generated content varies, and we cannot guarantee every result will match what you had pictured.
To request a refund, contact us at support@magicstorycorner.com with your account email, the date of purchase, and a short explanation, and we will get back to you.
8. Content You Create, and AI-Generated Content
Magicstorycorner uses artificial intelligence, provided in part by third-party technology partners, to turn your answers into stories, illustrations, and narrated audio.
- AI-generated content can occasionally be unexpected, imperfect, or not quite what you had in mind. We use automated filters to help keep content appropriate, but no filter is perfect.
- As the account holder, you are responsible for reviewing a story before sharing or reading it with a child, and for deciding whether it is appropriate for that child.
- If a story or image is generated that you believe is inappropriate, please report it to us immediately at support@magicstorycorner.com; we take this seriously and will review it.
- We may remove or restrict access to any content we reasonably believe is harmful, unsafe, or in breach of these Terms, at any time and without needing to give advance notice.
9. Acceptable Use
When using Magicstorycorner, you agree not to:
- submit information about a real child that you do not have the right or permission to share;
- attempt to generate content that is sexual, violent, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate, particularly given that our content is intended for children;
- use the Service to harass, impersonate, or harm another person;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service or the systems behind it; or
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit tokens or generated content without our written permission.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches this section, with or without notice, depending on the severity of the breach.
10. Ending Your Account
You can stop using Magicstorycorner at any time, and you can ask us to close your account by contacting us at support@magicstorycorner.com.
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, if we reasonably suspect misuse, or if we are required to do so by law. Where we do this for reasons other than your breach of these Terms, we will try to give you reasonable notice.
11. Our Responsibility to You
We work hard to keep Magicstorycorner running smoothly, but we cannot promise the Service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms, or for issues caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including outages at our third-party AI, hosting, or payment providers.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in how the Service works or in the law. Where changes are significant, we will let you know, for example by email or a notice on the Service. Continuing to use Magicstorycorner after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of TBC. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of TBC, without affecting any rights you may have as a consumer in your country of residence.
